All Time is Now

Greetings!

The leaves have had their riot of color and have flown before the wind.

This month I found a really wonderful article from one of my favorite authors, Craig Lock. I hope you will enjoy it.

Full Moon Times and Dates:

~November - The Eleventh Month~

The evening sky is now nearly empty of planets, with Jupiter reaching conjunction with the Sun on the 21st. Venus is technically back, but it is actually too low to be easily observed. One bright spot this month is Saturn, which now rises by 11:00 p.m. at midmonth in Leo. However, the real highlight this month is the first transit of Mercury visible throughout North America in decades. Specially equipped solar telescopes or binoculars with strong appropriate filters (always use eye protection when viewing solar events) will show the innermost planet march across the Sun's face on the 8th. Orion and the brilliant winter stars return this month, rising well before midnight. Moon phase times are based on Eastern Time.

Full Moon: 5th day, 7th hour, 58th minute
Last Quarter: 12th day, 12th hour, 45th minute
New Moon: 20th day, 17th hour, 18th minute
First Quarter: 28th day, 1st hour, 29th minute

The November full moon is also called: Full Beaver Moon: Full Frost Moon

~December - The Twelfth Moon ~

There's lots to see this month: A wonderfully tight Mercury/Mars/Jupiter conjunction stands low in the predawn twilight on the 9th. The next morning, Mercury and Jupiter are extremely close together, and Mercury remains visible during the whole first half of the month. Jupiter emerges from the solar glare as a morning star and crosses into Scorpius. Venus appears in the evening sky, although it is still low during twilight. Saturn rises by 9:30 p.m. at midmonth and is near the Moon on the 9th. The Geminid meteor showers should be visible before midnight on both the 13th and 14th. Winter officially arrives with the solstice on the 21st, at 7:22 p.m. Moon phase times are based on Eastern Time.

Full Moon: 4th day, 19th hour, 25th minute
Last Quarter: 12th day, 9th hour, 32nd minute
New Moon: 20th day, 9th hour, 1st minute
First Quarter: 27th day, 9th hour, 48th minute

The full moon of December is also known as: Full Cold Moon; Full Long Nights Moon.

How to Find and Follow your Inner Calling

Author's Note:
This article (in point form) was largely based upon notes I've taken from Oprah's most iuplifting TV program from some years back (when I had just the seed of a dream in my soul). I have personalised some of the information in following the principles, as well as adding some additional thoughts and anecdotes, from my own journey (as I feel this piece has a lot of meaning to me, as I feel it "mirrors" my own "unchartered" path).

Oprah's personal journey and philosophy has been a great encouragement and inspiration to me in following my personal dream for many years and I'm sharing this piece with the hope and in the spirit of encouraging and perhaps even inspiring other people to follow their personal dreams. That is my dream!! - - craig

Having the courage to follow your dreams.
"I can do anything, if I only knew what it was." How to put the pieces together to follow your dreams.

Songwriter. Learning to live yourself is the greatest love of all, 'Touch/Love me in the morning', 'Miss you like crazy', 'Save it all for you'. How Muhammed Ali (renegade) found strength to believe in himself - avoiding the draft - motivated him to write a song. Stripped of everything he had at the time - "The greatest love of all". Have a reason - "He who has a WHY, will always find out anyHOW." or words to that effect from the German philosopher, Nietsche. Having a reason, a strong purpose (for Being and living) makes you feel great about yourself. The songwriter had dreams of making music when he was young. Use the power of the creativity within you. Are we in touch with our feelings deep inside ourselves? Really feel deep inside, instead of pleasing people. Let them touch you. Scared? It's finding your meaning in life.
Are you unhappy - restless, unfulfilled. The journey of life should not be predictable. Want meaning? Don't know how it will pan out? Nor do I, but it's certainly an exciting journey!

Trust your Creativity. What you really feel inside - touch them. Don't be afraid to expose them. Not afraid??? - the thoughts just visit me - ideas just come. Role play in job. The journey is the reward. It's wherever you are at the time. Get in touch with your emotions.
Not all people can be great. Find the poetry in yourselves. No risk. Don't learn by rote - don't go for security. Take time to find the poetry in yourselves - it's not rote (learning), nor is it playing a role. Try it out, be a watchmaker, anything you want - don't try to be great. Try expressing your feelings and emotions into a tape-recorder. It's the journey, not the destination that's important.

I want to do something, but I just don't know what to do.
Was it always what you wanted to do? Lawyer turned "pro" baseball player. Comedian.

4 questions:
How much more meaningful is your life now?
Is it significant or successful?
I believe that you can become anything you believe you can be. However, you have to work hard to get there. We are often unsure of ourselves, when we go for our dream. Live the dream of your life. You can become anything that you want to be; but you have to work hard on it. I can do anything, if I only know what it was.
We often don't believe in ourselves. Many of us have forgotten. Find out what you love doing - what you are gifted at - there is no exception; you have something to give this world. When you are born, your vision of the world is unique; however, it gets stomped out by the trials and tribulations of life. You will be magnificent at it. Don't try to be great - just go for the poetry in you. What do you love doing, what makes your heart sing? You can be special, you ARE a unique being. Don't try to be great - Find the poetry in you. What makes your heart sing?

Can I be the Change I wish to see in the world?
YES, you can! First, Create an aura of peace in your own life.

P.S: The fact that I've submitted this article is a result of being in an seemingly impossible situation years back, which eventually led to me finding and living my dream as a writer, who (hopefully) makes a difference by uplifting others and touching lives around the globe.. and that is the reason for sharing my various writings. Thank you sincerely, Oprah for sharing your insights and wisdom in encouraging me down my 'untrodden path' from days of darkness into the light, as I follow my dreams.

This 'N That

Have you ever noticed that those that are sure of themselves whether it is in their profession or their hobby are some of the nicest, most encouraging people? Of course the converse is true as well.

October was a difficult month for this little turtle. So many circumstances swirled around that it was quite a feat to keep balanced. I fear that I've lost my balance several times when the rug was yanked out from under me, and a lot of people around me. Here's hoping that November is better for everyone.
